Herewith, I am going to take you a partial tour of my flat and garden, with a stop at Piccino’s for coffee. Enjoy!
Sitting room, looks out onto 22nd Street in the Dogpatch. Mark: note that my orchid is re-blooming! I am an ORCHID MASTER!
Dining room and work space (see photo above), with my fabulous mustard-yellow dining room table, the first piece of artwork I ever bought (over Harp’s bed) by Susan Spies. Note Harper’s duckie, abandoned, under the chairs, which happen to called Greyhound chairs by CB2.
My work space. Mo, can you see your wedding photo on my desk? Patsy, there’s that lovely framed photo of mum & Dad that you got me for Christmas a while ago. The blue-and-yellow bit of glass is from Hoglund Art Glass in New Zealand. The amber old-time pharmacy containers are from San Telmo in Buenos Aires.
Too cute. He’s self-conscious about his ear.
Wait, who’s that little bundle of adorable-ness, finally awake, lazy little bones?
One final Harp shot.
French doors that lead from my kitchen into the garden. My favorite feature of my wonderful flat. Can you see the little duck that Dad & Alison got me? Mo & Kel have a whole gaggle of them in Glen Cove.
J Schatz bird feeder. I got one for Mark & Mandy too. I just love it, even if it’s not the most effective feeder.
